Semi-electric or fully electric?
Semi-electric (e.g. PPT20H): travels electrically, but you lift the pallet by pumping the handle, as on a hand pallet truck. A lower-cost way to stop pushing loads.
Fully electric (e.g. EPT15H, EPT20H, EPT15B/20B): travel and lifting are both controlled from buttons on the handle. Built for frequent loading and full-day shifts.
For heavy loads and long hours there are the RPT25/RPT30 (2,500 and 3,000 kg), for low pallets the EPT-75L-P with 75 mm forks, and for wet areas the galvanised EPT20H-G.
Why lithium
- Maintenance-free: no topping up or ventilation as with lead-acid batteries.
- Swapped in seconds: on the 24/7 series (PPT20H, EPT15H, EPT20H) the battery comes out in 6 seconds, so a second battery keeps you working.
- Fast charging: with the 5A charger, about 2 hours for the 10 Ah battery and 3 hours for 15 Ah (STAXX 24/7 catalogue).
- Maintenance-free brushless drive motor; the drive wheel is replaced in 60 seconds.
- Battery and error-code display, recharge alert and electromagnetic brake.
For warehouses, trucks and deliveries
Lithium electric pallet trucks are light and compact, so they work equally well in the warehouse and on the truck:
- Deliveries by truck or van: the battery comes out to charge without unloading the machine.
- Drinks wholesalers, supermarkets and cash & carry: less fatigue over many daily moves.
- Loading ramps: up to 6% gradient laden and 20% unladen (24/7 series).
- Cold and wet areas: galvanised EPT20H-G.

Electric pallet truck FAQ
A semi-electric truck (e.g. PPT20H) travels electrically, but the pallet is lifted by hand from the handle. On a fully electric truck (e.g. EPT15H, EPT20H) both travel and lifting are push-button.
